So many of us grow herbs in our gardens, and with good reason–they’re so versatile in the kitchen and there’s nothing that beats that fresh herb taste. With seafood, in marinades, in soups and sauces…but another  super quick and easy way to pump up the volume the next time you cook is to whip up some herbed butter. Try this recipe and let me know how you like it!

FRESH HERB BUTTER

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1/4 cup finely chopped mixed herbs (such as basil, thyme, sage, parsley, dill, chives, tarragon, oregano, marjoram or rosemary)
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Shape into a log, wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate; or pack into a butter crock and cover. Deee-licious!

Thanks, Matt & Susan! You’re going to love it, but you have to promise to use real butter and not the fake stuff. ; )
