Little Buddhas Everywhere

If you’ve read this blog for awhile, you’ve probably noticed my penchant for Buddhas. I’m not Buddhist; in fact, I’m a lifelong Lutheran-turned-Episcopalian. But I have a real appreciation and respect for anything–person, book, faith, company–that embodies a lifestyle of peacefulness and reverence for life. The Buddha, just like the cross symbol, represents that for me, so I’ve spent some time over the last few years taking photographs of Buddhas when I see them. Here are a few of my favorites–I hope you enjoy them!
