Garden Designers Roundtable: Garden Travel

Good morning, readers! Have you ever taken a trip or a vacation and come across a fabulous garden? Sometimes it’s by strolling through a neighborhood, while other times it’s a trip to a botanical garden or a private garden tour. You take a ton of inspirational pictures and maybe even jot down notes so you won’t forget that awesome plant combination or rock wall. The Garden Designers Roundtable is all about garden travel today, and I can’t wait to read about the favorite gardens of my colleagues. We all take away different things from gardens we see on our travels, but they are always inspirational, aren’t they?

I love this shot I took last year at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show–and what I took away from that show garden was to remember to create “views” in a garden.
